Structured and Network Cabling from Network Scotland

A structured cabling system is the cornerstone of just about every business today. Network Scotland has the technical know how to design the specification from scratch, and complete the structured cabling installation from start to finish.

Communication data cabling and the demand on network requirements are ever increasing in terms of capacity and performance. We offer the full range of designs in CAT5e and CAT6 as defined by the TIA/EIA-568B, offering performance of up to 250MHz. We are also able to supply a CAT6a service as defined in ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2-10, giving performance of 500MHz, or double the performance standard of CAT6.

A majority of our work is in and around Scotland however, we are capable of completing Data cabling and structured cabling projects anywhere in the UK.

We are a partner of Cisco the UK’s largest manufacturer of data comms products, and are able to provide value for money and high level installations. Our installations can include data or server cabinets, cable tray or basket, all the necessary accessories and can come in either the un-terminated traditional style or pre-terminated options.

Computer, gaming, room to room, office to office networking. Cat 5/6 Wired networks installed for commercial or residential properties

Where significant bandwidth is the requirement, a fibre optic cabling installation may be the answer. It is especially beneficial when you need to cover large distances at great speed whilst providing with considerable bandwidth. It is also to be considered when space is at a premium as fibre optic installations are not effected by electro magnetic interference (EMI), and can therefore be run in proximity to electrical services.

Our engineers are able to provide single or multimode standard fibre solutions, or offer more flexible blown fibre techniques. Blown fibre will give our clients more flexibility, as it makes future upgrades easier, repairs more simple and has cost management benefits. It also allows for the absolute minimum of downtime or effect to the core business activities of the customer.
